Agniveer navy recruitment 2025-2026 – Indian Navy.Position: Agniveer (MR).Batch: 02/2025, 01/2026, 02/2026.Vacancies: Male and Female Candidates.
The Indian Navy is inviting applications for the role of Agniveer (MR) for the 02/2025, 01/2026, and 02/2026 batches. Eligible unmarried Indian male and female candidates are invited to apply.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Must have passed Matriculation (10th) with at least 50% marks from recognized Boards.
Candidates appearing for Class 10th exams in 2024-25 are also eligible to apply but must provide original marksheets during later stages.
Age Criteria:
02/2025 Batch: Born between 01 Sep 2004 – 29 Feb 2008
01/2026 Batch: Born between 01 Feb 2005 – 31 Jul 2008
02/2026 Batch: Born between 01 Jul 2005 – 31 Dec 2008
Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates (male and female) are eligible. Must submit a certificate of being unmarried at the time of enrolment.
Terms & Conditions:
Service Duration: 4 years under the Navy Act 1957.
Salary and Benefits:
₹30,000/month with annual increments.
Risk, hardship, dress, and travel allowances.
Seva Nidhi (total ₹5.02 lakh on completion).
Leave: 30 days per year.
Life Insurance Cover: ₹48 lakh during service.
Death & Disability Compensation: Rs. 44 lakh for death attributable to service; Rs. 44/25/15 lakh for disability based on severity.
Permanent Enrolment Opportunity: Up to 25% of Agniveers from each batch may be selected for permanent service.
Pension/Gratuity: Not applicable for Agniveers.
Medical & CSD Facilities: Medical care and CSD provisions for the duration of service.
Selection Process:
Stage I – INET 2025:
Online exam with 50 questions on Science, Math, and General Awareness.
Duration: 30 minutes
Exam Fee: ₹550 + GST (non-refundable)
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for incorrect answers.
Stage II – PFT, Written Exam, Medical:
Shortlisting based on INET results.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT), written examination, and medical tests will follow.
