1. Vacancy and Reservation (Table-3):

Various executive positions are available across multiple grades (General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Chief Manager, etc.). The vacancies are distributed across categories like UR, SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and EWS. There are also provisions for PwBD candidates, with horizontal reservation as per GoI guidelines.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualifications: The courses for qualifications should be full-time/regular and recognized by appropriate authorities (State/Central Government, UGC, AICTE). For non-technical posts, online/distance learning qualifications from recognized institutions are acceptable.
  • Experience: Candidates working in Govt./PSU should have at least 2 years of experience in the immediate below pay scale as on April 10, 2025.
  • Private Sector Candidates: A minimum annual CTC as specified for each post in the table.

3. Salary and Benefits:

The basic salary will be at the minimum of the pay scale. For deserving candidates, higher starting pay may be considered. Additional benefits include dearness allowance, company accommodation, leave encashment, medical facilities, PF, gratuity, and performance-related pay.

4. Place of Posting:

The initial place of posting will be as indicated in the vacancy table. However, candidates may be transferred to other IREL units/offices based on the company’s requirements.

5. Age Relaxation:

There are age relaxations based on categories such as SC/ST/OBC/EWS, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and Government employees.

6. Selection Process:

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their eligibility and experience. The final selection will be made based on performance in the Personal Interview/Psychometric test/group exercise, or other assessments. Written tests may also be conducted if required.

7. Pre-Employment Medical Examination:

Candidates will need to undergo a medical examination before joining. The decision of the medical authority will be final.

8. Character and Antecedents Verification:

Candidates’ appointments will be subject to verification of character, antecedents, and experience.

9. Application Fee:

A non-refundable application fee of â‚ą500 is required, which is exempted for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates, women, and internal candidates. Payment should be made online at the time of application submission.
