The Government unveiled the Agnipath scheme on Tuesday(14.06.2022).
Purpose of the Agnipath scheme
To provide youthful profile to armed forces and to strengthen the Indian’s security.
Oppertunity/Position
Indian young stars to serve in armed forces as “Agniveer.”
Training period
6 months
Service period
4 Years
After 4 Year
After this service period only 25% of agniveers will be retained in regular cadre based.And they will serve for another 15 years.
75% Agniveers will be demobilized with SEVA NIDHI Package of 11-12 lakhs
Benifits of this service periods
This service of 4 years will not be taken into consideration for the fixation of final pensionary benifits.Only SEVA NIDHI Package will be provided.

- 30000/- per months
- Life insurance 48 lacs
- Ex gratia of 44 lacs for death
- 100% disability-44 Lacs
- 75% disability-25 lacs
- 50% disability-15 lacs
